Playoff Format
 
Here is an explanation of the 2023/2024 Playoff Format.  This Format will also be used for Singles Flex Leagues!
  • 2 Teams - No playoffs.
  • 3 Teams - Team #3 is eliminated.  Teams #1-2 play for the title.  
  • 4 Teams - Teams #3-4 are eliminated.  Teams #1-2 make the playoffs and play for the title.  
  • 5 Teams - Teams #3-5 are eliminated.  Teams #1-2 make the playoffs and play for the title.
  • 6 Teams - Teams #4-6 are eliminated.  Teams #2-3 play against each other.  Winner plays #1 for the title.    
  • 7 Teams - Teams #4-7 are eliminated.  Teams #1-3 make the playoffs described in 6 teams.    
  • 8 Teams - Teams #5-8 are eliminated.  Team #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3.  Winners play for the title.  
  • 9 Teams - Teams #5-9 are eliminated.  Teams #1-4 make the playoffs as described in 8 teams.     
  • 10 Teams - Teams #6-10 are eliminated.  Teams #4-5 play to get into semi-final against #1.  Winner of that plays against winner of #2-3.
  • 11 Teams - Teams #6-11 are eliminated.  Teams #1-5 make the playoffs as described in 10 teams.   
  • 12 Teams-  Teams #7-12 are eliminated.  Teams #3-6 play / winner plays #1 team.  Teams #4-5 play / winner plays #2 team.  The semi-final winners play each other for the title. 
  • 13 Teams - Teams #7-13 are eliminated.  Teams #1-6 make playoffs as described in 12 teams.   
  • 14 or more Teams - Teams divided into 2 flights.  Each flight follows guidelines described for their number of teams.  

**The HIGHER ranked team in each playoff match has home court advantage.  

**Playoff Format is based on the number of teams at the START of the season.
